DCT ELECTRICAL VAULT REHABILITATION

This project consisted of rehabilitation of 9 electrical vaults. Each vault had deterioration of the concrete and new precast wall panels had to be installed into each vault. Five out of the nine panels were high voltage. All the vault work was completed without having to de-energize the existing high voltage cables. Once the panels were installed each vault was backfilled with slurry, then new manhole frames and covers were installed and asphalt pavement was placed. GBC performed successfully on this project without any incidents or problems.
